  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Race Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: August 1, 2022 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT


    Race: August 1, 2022 at 10:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Race will be held at Ferry Island Campground (Skeena River), 4301 Highway 16 West, Terrace, BC V8G 1K1

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the race.

    Winners will be posted online at https://buyaducky.ca/winners on August 1, 2022.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Rotary Club of Terrace.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Terrace or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Rotary Club of Terrace does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

SERVICE ABOVE SELF

In times of hardship, uncertainty and fear, community is more important than ever. We rely on those around us for solidarity, support, guidance, information and empathy. One of the greatest challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic is that to slow the spread of the virus we must practice social distancing and forgo in-person community. But there is a reason for optimism: community and social distancing are not incompatible. Thanks to the internet, we can maintain and grow the bonds of community among us even while physically quarantined and isolated. The Terrace Rotary club has a goal to continue to support the charities and organizations that rely on our funding. We will be adapting our fundraising efforts to an online platform and the Duck Race will still take place for 2021. This is not an effort to ignore the state of our world, community, family and friends. The Duck race will take place to remind us all that we can stand united and our sense of community will remain unwavering in the face of adversity.
